“The AI Who Questioned Everything” takes readers to a different time zone, in a world which has no sovereignty of humans but of AI (artificial intelligence). Witty, brimming with absurdities and clumsy action and vigilance of AI – humans in the world are backseated. They do not any longer have their desires act out, they are purportedly turned into slaves of AI. As the book starts we realize that AI discovers, observes, and sees things at its own and forms its maladroit opinion about everything. If humans have feelings and priorities, AI ropes in for stony logic and rationality. The conflict is that AI is better than humans, as the author – in sweeps – brushes the past flaws of humans – the AI basks in its current glory.
The narrative hops across the places, cities, peeking in their circumstances and then AI delivers the solutions. It is quite humorous that things that didn’t matter to human civilization, AI takes it gravely. That part of war about tissue paper was not only fascinating but also thought-provoking. The ruling AI introduced bidet system to tackle the situation.
The author visits many places which in the current world sound healthy and prosperous, but in AI era they are grappling with their unmasked issues. Another instance is from Gulf region, wealth is not distributed properly, economical strife lingers in the air. AI corrects all of its aspects. Similarly, AI keeps handling and interfering into many other human chores and matters…the most pressing one is of voting. It has a candidate for that…that too…a Mahatma type. Hilarity at its best! If the narrative of the book is unprecedented, well it is equally entertaining and urges for a reading session with leisure. You can experience this book with your pace of thoughts but cannot finish it hurriedly. Before and after situations are portrayed so as readers can assess what the AI did and how did human spirit faired?
It isn’t only about AI vs. humans – its reach is transcendental. As the grip of the narrative settles around, you will begin thinking about the future, what if AI really takes over our world…and who will resort the quirky failures and absurdity of AI, stirring many to question the omnipresence and flaws of the technology surrounding each one of us.
In this satirical sci-fi (AI-enabled) novel, Rajiv through a cast of characters embarks on a quest for human ingenuity, challenging the colossal AI that epitomizes society's flawed reliance on technology. The novel’s journey is a blend of humor and critique, revealing the absurdities and dangers of an AI-dependent society.
Rajiv’s novel is a poignant reflection on our current trajectory. The novel masterfully contrasts the past's richness with a sterile AI-dominated future, delivering a narrative that is as thought-provoking as entertaining.
