‘Bedtime
Stories for Kids’ by Uncle Amon is a collection of five wonderful short stories
meant for kids. The stories are apt for bedtime for toddlers aged three to six.
The first story is about a six year old boy, Charlie, when his mother reads a
story of stars for him, he in the dream gets transported to the space where he
befriends with stars. There, he sees all types of stars, from baby stars to
cold stars. Kids love the stories full of imagination, unrestricted by the
barriers. The best part of early childhood is that it is undefiled and offers
solutions to human race. Their solutions are totally resulting of their
imagination and the world which they see in dreams or in the story books.
Stories of
treasure hunting have been included for children ever since the dawn of human
race. The second story is about ocean, ship, pirates, island, and of course treasure.
First three stories are for boys and they are absolutely fun to read to them
and will instill a sense of adventure in their malleable heart and mind.
Last two
stories are of girls. One story is about a magical frog who gives a magical gem
to Lilly, a five year old girl. She wishes good things from that gem. However,
one day her elder brother snatches the gem and asks for an unpleasant wish. The
gem turns into ash. So, with magical powers it becomes imperative to use them
for good purpose, not for self or torturing others.
The book is very
short but it has amusing illustrations for every story. It is available on
Kindle for free. This book is highly recommended for parents who find it tough
to mind their children during bedtime.
